Vincent Thivierge

I am a PhD student in economics and environmental science at University of California, Santa Barbara’s Bren School. I formerly worked as an Environmental Economist for think-tanks and University-based policy research institutes in Canada.

My research uses empirical tools, such as econometrics, micro-simulation and other data analysis techniques to answer questions in environmental and public policy.

My recent work has explored the impacts of Canadian carbon pricing on household gasoline consumption, industry competitiveness and on the distributional implications for households.
